For years, the function "Move Node" in the context menu has been the go-to for organizing tree structures in EMM-Check®. While reliable, we knew we could make the process even more intuitive.

With the release of EMM-Check® 4.4.0.0, we are excited to introduce Drag & Drop functionality!

EMM-Check® 4.4.0.0 Sneak Preview #4: Maximum Precision with the new Classification

More precise visibility analyses and exact results: With the update to version 4.4.0.0, we are taking calculation processes in EMM-Check® to the next level!

What has changed?
Previously, classification was based on a voxel model (3D pixels). The vehicle geometry was divided into cubes with a fixed tolerance (e. g., 10 mm). While fast, this method involved inherent approximations.

The Innovation in EMM-Check® 4.4.0.0:
We are saying goodbye to voxels! The new classification works directly and exactly on the vehicle geometry.

Your Benefits:

• Zero Tolerance : Maximum accuracy for light source carrier alignment and the calculation of real mirror and camera visibility fields.
• Reliable Data : The marginal increase in calculation time is more than offset by the significantly higher quality of the results.
• Future-Proof : Optimized previews and precise background geometry models.

Please note: Due to this classification shift, you may see slight adjustments in your existing analysis results. It’s definitely worth checking out the new details!
